The company raised prices on the Alto, S-Presso, WagonR, Ertiga, XL6 and Swift by upto 4.7%.
“Maruti Suzuki India Limited today announced a price change for select models owing to increase in input costs…The price change varies across models and ranges from 0-4.7% (ex-showroom, Delhi)”, the company said in a statement to the bourses.
Maruti Suzuki had announced its intention to raise vehicle prices last month but had not specified the quantum of hike at the time.
