David Moyes: West Ham appoint former boss for second spell

[ad_1]

David Moyes has been appointed as West Ham manager and will return for a second spell at the club.

The 55-year-old Scot has signed an 18-month deal and will take charge of the New Year’s Day home game against Bournemouth at London Stadium.

He replaces Manuel Pellegrini, who was sacked after Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat by a much-changed Leicester side.

Following their fourth straight home loss, the Hammers are one place and one point above the relegation zone.

More to follow.
