The winter session of Parliament got off to a heated start with the Congress cornering the government over the situation in J&K. Congress leader in the Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury slammed the Modi government for the visit of EU MPs to J&K and said that it was an insult to all MPs in India. He further slammed the Modi government over the detention of Farooq Abdullah and P Chidambaram.
