The Indian diaspora held a demonstration at Times Square in New York in support of the Citizenship Amendment Act. They were seen holding pro-Modi slogans and also held placards supporting the contentious Act. BJP has been facing fire from several quarters over the Act that allows Indian citizenship to persecuted minorities from three neighbouring countries but curiously leaves out Muslims from its ambit.
