Every year Fortune magazine comes out with its list of Global 500 companies. According to Fortune, these “companies are ranked by total revenues for their respective fiscal years” ends. Apart from revenue, other factors that are included in the methodology of this ranking are profits, employee strength, balance sheet and others.
