The Best Presidents’ Day Vacuum Deals: Roomba, Dyson, and Bissell

[ad_1]

Presidents’ Day is a great time to find deals on a variety of home items, especially with spring around the corner. You’ll typically find steep discounts on furniture, mattresses, and appliances, including vacuums. If you’re in the market for the latter, we’ve found quite a few deals from top retailers, some rivaling the best deals we saw during the holidays.

Below, we listed the best deals we’ve found this Presidents Day 2020, from retailers including Roomba, Dyson, and Bissell, saving you up to 40% off. Whether you’re hoping to grab a robot vacuum, upright vacuum, or stick vacuum for your home, we have you covered.

Best robot vacuum deals

iRobot Roomba 960 — $449

While there are certainly much cheaper options when it comes to Roomba vacuums, the Roomba 960 is a good mix of both value and functionality. Currently on sale for just $449 at Amazon ($100 less than last year’s President’s Day sales), where the 960 excels is in its navigational capabilities.

Using a technology iRobot calls vSLAM, the 960 is the cheapest Roomba that can visually map your room, allowing it to clean in straight lines versus the much less capable sensors of cheaper models which rely on the Roomba bumping into things to figure out where it is (and where it’s been). You can control it directly with your smartphone via the iRobot Home app, or use voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Additionally, this model allows you to create custom cleaning schedules so you don’t even need to press a button to activate your vacuum, and it can return to its charger to recharge and start cleaning again where it left off, allowing it to clean much larger rooms than more basic models.

Shark Ion RV750 — $229

If you’re not set on a Roomba, you can save yourself a bit of money by looking at Shark’s Ion line of robot vacuums instead. While the Ion RV750 doesn’t have the top-tier navigation that the Roomba 960 has, it’s obstacle avoidance capabilities are much better than that of the cheaper Roombas (it avoids bumping into walls and doors). That said, we still found it to run into smaller obstacles like chair legs and the like. That’s to be expected, though, as it uses similar sensors to the low-end Roomba.

The Shark Ion robot vacuum comes with smart navigation, automatic docking, and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity. You can control this vacuum with an easy-to-use mobile app or with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Right now it’s $229 at Walmart, $120 off its normal $349 price.

Eufy RoboVac 35c — $200

best presidents day vacuum deals eufy robovac 35c

Eufy might not be a well-known brand, but the company behind it — Anker — is. Anker has built a (well-deserved) reputation as a manufacturer of high-quality yet low-price tech accessories, and its RoboVac is certainly one you’ll want to consider. The RoboVac 35C is one of their newer models, and is currently on sale for $199 at Walmart, $100 off its normal retail price.

The 35C has an impressive 100 minutes of run time and includes the company’s BoostIQ technology which increases suction power when it detects dirt. You’ll also get Wi-Fi connectivity, Alexa and Google Assistant support, and automatic docking when it needs to recharge. But the best thing about this certainly is the price — and so far our tests of several RoboVac models have left us fairly impressed with a brand that didn’t even exist just a few short years ago.

Best upright vacuum deals

Dyson DC33 Bagless Upright Vacuum — $160

Dyson is discontinuing some of its upright vacuum models in favor of its popular ball-style uprights, and as a result, you’ll be able to get some older Dyson models at a great price. Walmart is offering refurbished DC33 uprights for just $160 directly from Dyson for Presidents Day, which we think is an outstanding deal. Yes, you do lose the maneuverability of the ball vacs, but for the price, we just can’t say no.

With a lightweight design and hygienic bin emptying, this model is great for handling carpet, hardwood, and rugs. It also comes equipped with a whole-machine HEPA filtration system to trap allergens and bacteria within the canister. If you would like a non-refurbished version, Walmart has them available for $200 but as of the time we wrote this they were out of stock. We’d honestly go with the refurbished version instead since it’s refurbished by and sold directly from Dyson itself.

Dyson Ball Multi-Floor 2 Upright Vacuum — $299

If you’re willing to pay a little bit more for a high-quality vacuum, the Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2 is worth a look. As the name suggests, this upright is a wiz at cleaning on just about any floor surface. It’s self-adjusting cleaner head automatically adjusts between carpets and floors to seal in suction, cleaning floors expertly every time, and it’s great for dealing with ground-in dirt, dust, and pet hair.

But the key feature of this particular vacuum is its signature ball. Ask anyone who owns one of these vacuums, and they will tell you the feature is a game-changer, allowing you to easily steer the vacuum around obstacles and through tight spaces. Normally priced at $400, the Dyson Small Ball upright vacuum is on sale for $299 at Amazon for Presidents Day.

Bissell Cleanview Swivel Rewind — $109

Vacuuming up dirt and dust is great, but if you have a dog or cat that is prone to shedding, dealing with pet hair can be a nightmare. This Bissell vacuum comes with a triple-action brush roll designed with pet hair in mind. It also comes with a specialized corner tool and a pet turbo eraser tool to help lift hair from stairs, carpet, and upholstery.

Another great feature is a 27-foot cord that automatically retracts, meaning that you’ll not only have plenty of cord to reach any spot in even the largest rooms, but you’ll never have to wrap a cord again. Normally priced at $160, this Bissell vacuum cleaner is on sale for just $109 at Walmart this weekend.

Best stick vacuum deals

Dyson V8 Animal Cordless Stick Vacuum — $299

Though the Dyson V8 stick vacuums are pricey, you really get what you pay for. It’s lightweight, cord-free, and incredibly versatile as a cleaning device. You can go from vacuuming the floor, up on to the couch, and all the way to the ceiling without much effort at all. It also comes with whole-machine HEPA filtration to easily capture allergens and bacteria. The V8 Animal is specifically designed for homes with pets, and it offers 25 minutes of cleaning time with the floor tool attached, and 40 minutes without.

Normally priced at $500, the Dyson V8 Animal is on sale for just $299 at Amazon for Presidents Day, a $200 discount.

Shark Rocket DeluxePro Corded Stick Vacuum — $170

If you don’t mind having a cord attached to your stick vacuum, the Shark Rocket DeluxePro is a pretty solid option. Coming in at just 9 pounds, it can easily convert into a handheld vacuum for versatile floor-to-ceiling cleaning. It also comes with a pet multi-tool, which is great for dealing with any embedded pet hair on your sofa, upholstery, and stairs.

Normally priced at $280, this SharkNinja Stick vacuum is on sale for just $170, and is one of Walmart’s bestselling stick vacuums. It also comes with a user guide on technical specifications that you should definitely read before use.
