Infosys said the US Securities & Exchange Commission (USSEC) concluded its investigation on the whistleblower allegations.

The Indian tech services major said in a filing to the exchanges that it does not anticipate any further action by the USSEC on this matter.

“The Company received notification from the USSEC that it has concluded its investigation and the Company does not anticipate any further action by the SEC on this matter. The Company has also responded to all the inquires received from the Indian regulatory authorities and Company will continue to cooperate with the authorities should there be any additional requests for information,” said Infosys.

In January, Infosys’ audit committee had given a clean chit to the top leadership after a detailed probe into whistleblower allegations.

A whistleblower letter was sent to the company’s board in September last year with a slew of allegations against the CEO Salil Parekh and CFO Nilanjan Roy, claiming accounting malfeasance to boost the company’s revenue and profit numbers.
