The economic price the world may have to pay for Covid seems to be getting graver and graver. According to the IMF, the pandemic will drag Asia’s growth to nil, a first in 60 years. Niti Aayog’s boss, however, said India may be able to avoid a zero growth scenario.

Maharashtra today became the first state in India to hit the 3000-mark, but there’s a silver lining. India’s worst affected state saw a 34% dip and in new cases recorded yesterday, while state capital Mumbai witnessed a 35% dip.
