Liverpool are standing firm over their £27m asking price for Divock Origi, according to Liverpool Echo.
The Belgian forward is being targeted by Borussia Dortmund but the German club are yet to make an offer.
Origi is expected to leave Merseyside before the European transfer window shuts on August 31.
Origi targeted by Dortmund
Liverpool have placed a £27m price tag on Divock Origi – with the club still confident of securing this figure.
Jurgen Klopp has admitted that the Reds have ‘no need to sell players’ and departures will be on ‘their terms’.
“That will not happen. We are not in a financial need situation where we have to do that.”
It is understood that German club Borussia Dortmund have entered the race to sign the 23-year-old.
Wolverhampton Wanderers were willing to pay £21m plus add-ons for Origi earlier this summer, however, the forward was not keen on the move.
Origi left out for Liverpool
Despite remaining a member of Klopp’s squad, Origi has yet to be included in the club’s Premier League matchday squad.
Following the arrival of Xherdan Shaqiri, the return of Daniel Sturridge and the fine form of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, his game time has been limited.
