The official number of Covid-19 deaths crossed the 1,500 mark in India today, Health ministry’s daily update showed.
According to the update at 8 am, total cases in India went up to 46,433 in the past 24 hours. There have been 1,568 deaths, and 12,727 people have been cured/discharged.
As per ICMR website, at last count, well over 11,00,000 sample were tested for the disease.
The global numbers were at 35,82,469 as of morning hours today. There have 2,51,365 deaths worldwide till now.
