Humble’s Lunar New Year Sale Discounts Some of 2019’s Best Games

[ad_1]

In an age where players have more ways to purchase games than they can count, it feels like there’s a new marketplace sale every week. Following the lead of Steam and Nintendo, Humble is jumping on the bandwagon with its own Lunar New Year sale.

In celebration of the Lunar New Year, Humble is offering up to 80% off on select games, including many of 2019’s most poular and successful titles. Among the most notable titles being discounted are Devil May Cry V, which is on sale for $24, and Resident Evil 2, which can now be had for just $20, or 67% off the regular price.

Other titles include:

  • Borderlands 3 – $39
  • The Outer Worlds – $45
  • NBA 2K20 – $30
  • Red Dead Redemption 2 – $48
  • Monster Hunter World – $24

Humble’s sale couldn’t come at a better time. While spring 2020 is shaping up to be a landmark season for games, the winter release calendar has slimmed down significantly in recent weeks. Several game delays were announced within the industry, pushing back highly anticipated releases like Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Cyberpunk 2077.

The string of delays left February especially vacant, with both Ori and the Will of the Wisps and Iron Man VR getting pushed back as well. As a silver lining, February stands as an ideal month to catch up on all of the games you may have skipped over in 2019. Instead of trying to keep up with a slew of new releases, it’s a perfect time to finally sit down and play Resident Evil 2 before Resident Evil 3 releases later this spring.

Once March 20 hits, a relentless cycle of new releases kicks off when Doom Eternal and Animal Crossing: New Horizons drop on the same day. With so many promising games coming, it’s unlikely there will be many other opportunities to play catch-up. Last year may not have been a banner year for gaming, but Humble’s sale is a reminder that 2019 had plenty of highlights that were worthy of attention.

It can be difficult to keep up with the increased pace of modern game production, so consider the rest of this winter a rare chance to cross some great games off your wish list.
