Kochi: Elite group present in food processing, real estate, solar energy plans to become a zero carbon emission company.

Addressing the employees of the company at the founder’s day held in Thrissur, Danesa Raghulal, executive director of the group said the company has already started taking initiatives to achieve the goal.

She said she aimed at providing more environment friendly, health and nutritious food products to consumers. “We will focus more on growing our current share in existing markets and intend to establish the group as a more diversified and holistic brand,” she said

Daughter of TR Raghulal, chairman & managing director of the group, Danesa besides managing over all operations of the group, will develop the organizational culture to optimize productivity.

The Elite food division runs one of the largest food companies in South India. Food business of the group is powered by 9 quality driven state-of-art manufacturing facilities across India including Special Economic Zone (SEZ) unit for organic products in Thrissur. Apart from this, the group also has four outsourced units.

The food business of the group is divided into five major categories: baking, milling, convenience, and wellness and organic. Besides India, group has presence in many global markets including Middle East, US, UK, Europe, Canada, Singapore, South Africa, Australia, Taiwan, Israel and Malaysia.
