Best Black Friday Laptop Deals for 2019: MacBooks, ChromeBooks, Dell and more

This year’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are almost upon us, and after an October packed with all-new device reveals from brands like Google, Microsoft, Apple, and other tech companies, now is the perfect time to start thinking about gift ideas. And although Black Friday isn’t here quite yet, there are already plenty of good computer deals starting to appear on MacBooks, gaming laptops, sleek and light Windows 2-in-1 ultrabooks, Surface devices, and more, so if you’re sniffing around for a new computer either for yourself or for a special someone who’s on your “nice” list this holiday season, then it’s not too early to kick off your shopping.

What Laptop Deals to Expect

Laptops all but dominate the consumer PC market in 2019, and it’s no huge mystery as to why these foldable computers have beaten older-styled desktop computers when it comes to popularity. The gap in price and hardware performance between laptops and desktop PCs has shrunk dramatically in recent years, and nowadays you can even get highly impressive gaming laptops capable of running newer games at good settings for less than a grand (especially during Black Friday, Cyber Week, and other seasonal sales). In years past, your biggest decision when shopping for a laptop was essentially “Windows or Apple,” but with newer designs like touchscreen laptops and 2-in-1 hybrids entering the PC landscape, it’s easy to get choice paralysis if you’re looking for one of these machines. This can be even harder if it’s been some time since you’ve gone shopping for one.

Let us help you out a bit. First, go ahead and take a peek at our handy laptop buying guide to narrow down out what particular design is right for your needs and budget; then, read on and take a peek at the best Black Friday laptop deals for 2019, which feature a nice smattering of gaming PCs, 2-in-1s, MacBooks, Chromebooks, and affordable workhorses. We’ve already sniffed out the best deals from pretty much all the major online retailers, including Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, and B&H, among others, and have compiled the hottest Black Friday 2019 laptop sales for you below.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday Laptop Deals from Last Year

For Black Friday 2018 we saw the best price cuts for Dell, Lenovo, Asus, and Google Pixelbook laptops from Amazon and Walmart. One of the best deals was on the 15-inch Lenovo Ideapad 330s at Walmart that was $100 off, bringing the price down to a super-cheap $349. Another great option was the Dell XPS 15 with a 256GB SSD and an Nvidia GeForce GTX graphics card, which is one of our favorite all-around ultrabooks for work, gaming, and general daily use. This fantastic laptop was marked down for over $500 off, knocking it down to just $1,084 at Amazon. The Google Pixelbook with Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB RAM was also only $848 at Amazon, a $151 savings. Being one of the best Chromebooks on the market, that Google Pixelbook was definitely worth the splurge with its display touchscreen and great typing keyboard.
